Kurugenzi kutoka Idara mbalimbali katika Jumuiya ya Kikristo Tanzania zimewasilisha mipango ya mwaka 2025 na kuainisha namna ya utekelezaji wa miradi mbalimbali kwa kila idara itakavyokuwa inatekelezwa. Mambo yaliyowasilishwa ni Mipango na Bajeti ya kila idara katika kutekeleza Mpango Mkakati 2024-2028. Katika utendaji wetu wa kazi ni muhimu sana kuzingatia mpango mkakati wetu ambao ndio dira ya kuweza kupima tuliyopanga na kuhakikisha yanaleta matokeo bora na halisi kwa kila idara ili kufikia dhamira na maono ya Taasisi yetu -Katibu Mkuu Jumuiya ya Kikristo Tanzania (Mchg. CCT kwa kushirikiana na wadau wa maendeleo wamewasilisha TAMISEMI Mwongozo wa Ufuatiliaji wa Rasilimali za Umma Kwa Wananchi –MURU (Public Expenditure Tracking System -PETS). Lengo kuu la mwongozo huu ni kuisaidia serikali kama mdau mkuu na mwenye dhamana ya uongozi na wadau wengine wa maendeleo. Mwongozo huu umejikita zaidi kwa upana ushirikishwaji wa wananchi kwa ujumla kuwaleta pamoja na kuweza kufuatilia matumizi ya rasilimali za umma. Mwongozo huu umelenga hasa kuhakikisha rasilimali za umma zinatumika ipasavyo ili kuleta matokeo chanya kwa maendeleo na ustawi wa wananchi.
CCT imetoa mafunzo ya ushauri nasaha kwa wakuu wa shule, walimu washauri kutoka shule zilizoko chini ya makanisa wanachama CCT kutoka Kanda ya Maashariki yenye Mikoa ya Dar es salaam, Pwani, Zanzibar, Tanga na Morogoro. Mafunzo yamefanyika kwa siku mbili ambapo siku ya kwanza mafunzio yalifanyika kwa walimu wakuu wa shule na Waratibu wa Elimu kutoka makanisa wanachama wa CCT wanaomiliki shule za sekondari na vyuo. Siku ya pili mafunzo yalifanyika kwa walimu kutoka makanisa wanachama wenye shule za Sekondari. Mafunzo yamelenga walimu kujua namna nzuri na kusaidia kutoa ushauri katika taaluma na Ushauri nasaha kwa wanafunzi ili kulinda watoto katika tabia zao na kuwasaidia katika kufikia malengo yao kwa usahihi. Ikumbukwe tusipowalea watoto katika maadili mema watapotenza ndoto zao. Mafunzo yamefungwa na Baba Askofu Philipo Mafuja wa Afrika Inland Church Dayosisi ya Pwani ambapo amepongeza zoezi zima la uratibu wa mafunzo hayo na amewashukuru walimu ambao wameweza kushiriki mafunzo haya ya kuwasaidia wanafunzi shuleni/vyuni katika kukabilianana tabia mbovu, utandawazi na changamoto za ajira .
Wanawake ambao ni viongozi wa dini mbalimbali Mkoani Tabora wapata mafunzo kutoka CCT ya kufanya utetezi katika masuala ya haki za binadamu, wanawake, watoto, na mbinu za kupambana na vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia. Wamehimizwa kuendelea kutoa elimu kwa waumini katika kutetea watu kupata haki zao na kupambana na vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia
Kambi ya watoto Singida DC ya kupambana na vitendo vya ukatili dhidi ya watoto hasa wa kike ambapo jumla ya watoto 60 kutoka shule mbalimbali za msingi na sekondari wamepata mafunzo. Miongoni mwa vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia ambavyo vimebainika na kujadiliwa namna ya kujikinga navyo ni ukeketaji, Ulawiti na vipigo. Mafunzo yametolewa na CCT kupitia idara ya wanawake , watoto na jinsia ambapo mratibu wa Mradi wa kupambana na vitendo vya ukatili kwa wanawake na watoto, Dada Elizabeth Ngede amewasihi watoto kulinda mienendo yao, kujitunza na kujithamini kupitia mafunzo haya ili na wao waje kuonya maovu kwa kizazi kijacho huko mbeleni wakija kuwa wazazi. Diwani wa Kata ya Minga Mhe Ibrahimu Mrua amepongeza CCT kwa jitihada hizi za kupambana na vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia hasa ukeketaji. Amewasihi watoto kukataa kulala na ndugu wanaowatembelea wawapo nyumbani ili kujikinga na vitendo vya kulawitiwa. Mkuu wa Idara ya Mipango Tathmini na Ufuatiliaji CCT, bwana Urio Ndekirwa amewasihi watoto kujilinda na kwalinda watoto wengine ambao hawajafika kwenye mafunzo, akiwaomba yeyote atakayeona mtu akimfanyia kitendo ambacho sio sahihi atoe taarifa kwa wahusika (waratibu, walimu, dawati la jinsia, viongozi wa dini) ili kupata msaada Zaidi.
CCT kupitia dawati la wanawake , maendeleo, jinsia na watoto imeendesha Kongamano la ulinzi na Usalama wa mtoto mkoani Dodoma katika viwanja vya nyerere square leo tar 20/Juni 2024. Katika Kongamano hilo Ndugu Urio Ndekirwa ambaye amemwakilisha Katibu Mkuu CCT ameeleza kazi za CCT ikiwemo kupinga ukatili wa kijinsia hasa kwa watoto. CCT katika kupinga vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia inashirikiana na BAKWATA, TEC, CPCT, SDA na wadau wengine kwa kuwa unyanyasaji wa kijinsia hauangalii dini. Mkuu wa Wilaya ya Bahi Mhe Gift Msuya ambaye amemwakilisha Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Dodoma amepongeza CCT kwa kuona umuhimu wa kuendesha kongamano hili ndani mwezi wa maadhimisho ya siku ya mtoto wa Afrika. Amepongeza watoto kwa nyimbo mbalimbali zenye jumbe za kupinga vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia. Mratibu wa dawati la maendeleo ya wanawake, watoto na jinsia Elizabeth Ngede ameomba kila mmoja kuenzi malezi bora kwa watoto. Amepongeza kamati ya dini mbalimbali Mkoa wa Dodoma kwa kusimamia vizuri zoezi hili la kumlinda mtoto kupitia tamasha hili. Swala la mlinzi na usalama wa mtoto ni swala endelevu na CCT itaendelea kupinga vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia kwa watoto ili kila mtoto aweze kukua katika maadili yanayoipendeza jamii.
CCT HQ Dodoma has received guests from BfdW who are Claudia Trentmann and Mr. Fraten Tarimo (consultant) early this week. The aim of the visit is to conduct evaluation of projects which CCT is imppementing in partnership with BfdW and in specific the project which will be implemented will be Solar church project which aimed at supporting solar energy to communities which have no access to electric supply. Project is implemented in four regions which are Mara, Geita, Iringa and Kagera. Consultants were welcomed by the General Secretary of CCT, Rev Canon Dr. Moses Matonya who appreciated their their coming that they will provide technical advice to CCT but in specific he appreciated the long and trustworth partnership between CCT and BfdW in serving Tanzanian communities
CCT imetoa mafunzo ya kupinga vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia kwa wajane Wilayani Mpwapwa. Mafunzo hayo yamezinduliwa na Mchg. Amos Zakayo toka Kanisa la Anglikana Dayosisi ya Mpwapwa Idara ya maendeleo. Katika hotuba yake amewatia moyo wajane akiwasihi kujiona wa thaman kwa sababu Mungu akaaye mahali pake patakatifu, ni Baba wa yatima na mlinzi wa wajane. Baadhi ya vitu ambavyo vimeonekana kusababisha ongezeko la ukatiliwa kijinsia kwa wajane ni pamoja na uelewa mdogo (elimu ndogo) na umaskini. Mafunzo hayo ya siku mbili yanafanyika katika ukumbi wa Kanisa la Anglikana Tanzania ambapo wajane wamehimizwa kuwa na ushirikiano miongoni mwao hasa wanapoona mwenzao yuko katika hali ya kunyanyaswa. Pia wamesisitizwa kuwatumia wasaidizi wa kisheria wa CCT ambao wanapatikana Wilayani hapo pindi wanapokumbwa na changamoto inayohitaji ushauri/msaada wa kisheria. Mafunzo yameendeshwa na CCT kupitia idara ya wanawake na watoto yakiongozwa na Mkurugenzi wa Programu za Maendeleo na Utetezi , Bi Clotilda Ndezi.

Aidha Askofu aliwaasa washiriki kukemea vitendo vya utumwa mamboleo kwa watoto maana husababisha Trauma (Jeraha la Kisaikolojia) kwa watoto. Vitendo hivyo ni kama Mimba na ndoa za utotoni, ubakaji kwa watoto, vipigo, ajira kwa watoto, mateso ya kisaikolojia (psychological torture) na vingine vingi. Elimu ya kujikinga na ugonjwa wa Marburg ikiendelea kutolewa Mkoani Kagera. Hapa ni viongozi wa dini mbalimbali wakifundishwa namna ya kunawa mikono ipasavyo. Kumbuka Kunawa mikono kwa maji tiririka na sabuni mara kwa mara kwa kuwa ni njia mojawapo ya kujikinga na Ugojwa huo.

Lengo hasa ni kusaidia watu kupata haki zao wanapokuwa wa makossa mbalimbalia.

The purpose of her visit was to learn from CCT operations through various directorates, meet the Regional Interfaith Committee as well as ACT Alliance Tanzania Forum, WtG initiative on the work done on UN Agenda 2030 (SDGs).
CCT participate on Faith based organization engagement on Forest Landscape Restoration workshop that is hosted by WWF in Dodoma for 2 days with aim of inspiring and empowering faith organization and their leaders to advocate for protecting the environment also providing faith organizations with knowledge and networks to effectively communicate with decision-maker and the public. Faith based organizations FBO representatives are also trained on tree growing best practices and guidelines

Mkoa wa Dodoma ni mojawapo ya Mikoa yenye vitendo vya ukatili wa kijinsia na dhidi ya watoto. Kituo hiki kitarahisisha upatikanaji wa huduma za haraka kwa waliofanyiwa vitendo vya ukatili.Kituo hiki kinapatikana katika hospitali ya rufaa ya Mkoa wa Dodoma (General Hospital)
Education against Gender Based Violence has been regularly provided by the Christian Council of Tanzania and brought positive results in various areas of Tanzania. This is Kibaigwa Secondary School in Dodoma where awareness in GBV is provided. Rape of school girls is one of the challenges facing them. CCT has provided education to the students and parents on how to protect children, especially girls. One of the strategies to avoid such actions is not to walk at night and not to pass through dangerous areas such as bushes

Elimu ya Kupinga vitendo vya Ukatili wa kijinsia kwa njia ya uimbaji imekuwa ikitumika na kuleta matokeo chanya katika maeneo mbalimbali mwa Tanzania. Hapa ni kikundi cha ngomba asili kikitumbuiza katika shule ya Sekondari Chamwino Jijini Dodoma. Ubakaji kwa watoto wa kike imekuwa ni moja ya changamoto inayowakabili watoto wa kike katika maeneo hayo. Tuimarishe usawa katika kutoa huduma za UKIMWI kwa makundi yote ya wananchi na katika maeneo yote ya kijeografia kwa kuondoa vikwazo vinavyoondoa usawa katika kufikia dira ya kutokomeza UKIMWI ifikapo mwaka 2030.

Kazi kuu ya viongozi hao ni kueleimisha waumini na jamii kwa ujumla juu ya kujikinga na janga hili kubwa la Ebola ambalo bado halijatufikia Tanzania. Tunapoelekea kwenye maadhimisho ya miaka 61 ya uhuru wa nchi yetu ya Tanzania (9 Disemba 2022), tunakumbuka tangu mwanzo imekuwa ni kupambana na Ujinga, Umaskini na Maradhi. Na katika miaka yote hii Serikali yetu imejitahidi sana kuhakikisha ama tunapunguza ama tunatokomeza kabisa maadui hawa. Ebola ni moja ya maradhi sawasawa na COVID-19 ambayo tumeendelea kuwa nayo na sasa tunajielimisha mahali hapa kuona ni kwa namna gani tunaweza tukajikinga na maradhi haya. Kwa hiyo ni rai yangu kwa watanzania wote kuendelea kushirikiana na kufuata maelezo ambayo Wizara ya Afya pamoja na Serikali ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania inatupatia sisi wananchi wake tuweze kushirikiana kwa pamoja. Mungu ametupatia miili ili tuweze kuitunza, na njia mojawapo ambayo tunatakiwa kuitunza miili yetu ni kuhakikisha kwa namna gani tunajikinga dhidi ya maradhi.

Daliliza Ebola huanza kujitokeza kuanzia siku mbili hadi siku 21 baada ya kupata maambukizi. Veterinary officer Iyela ward in Mbeya city Saveria Nyigu has advised livestock breeders including pigs, chickens and rabbits to consider the best and friendly environment for the livestock they breed. This includes the cleanliness of the sheds, vaccinations on time and the right medicine for the disease that is compatible with the age of the animals, Nutrition / complete food, choosing good livestock seeds that bear fruit on time, checking the availability of the market for the animals you breed and continuing to focus on the recommended methods and veterinary specialists. This training has been facilitated by CCT through the Brave Woman project sponsored by the Norwegian development organization where 20 participants from different groups of people with special needs met. The brave woman project aims to empower women more economically through the activities they do, build their capacity to compete for leadership positions and realize their rights through education and legal support provided
CCT kupitia idara ya Mipango, Tathmini na Ufuatiliaji imeratibu warsha ya kutathmini kazi za mwaka huu 2022 na kuandaa mpango kazi wa mwaka 2023. Moses Matonya alisisitiza umuhimu wa kushirikiana katika utekelezaji kwa kuwa kila mtu ni kiungo muhimu sana katika kuujenga mwili wa Kristo kupitia CCT. Religious leaders are trusted by their believers especially when they are in their houses of worship. Thus this knowledge provided through these leaders becomes easier to be received by believers. CCT has been conducting extensive training for religious leaders on good governance, civic education and democracy. All this is to build a society with equal rights in nation building.
Elika Ngoliga is one of the beneficiaries of the KARIMU TZ project from Chamkoroma Ward, Kongwa District in Dodoma Region. This project aims to strengthen the activities of group members especially farm in God’s way. Farmers use natural fertilizers and professional methods in preparing the fields. This method has enabled Elika Ngoliga to cultivate a small area and harvest a lot where this year she has been able to harvest 12 sacks unlike in the past where she was plowing a large area and harvesting 3 to 4 sacks of maize. She is grateful for the training provided as she now cares for the family and has been able to educate her child.
Photo is a group of Tupendane from Urunda village in Mbarali District, Mbeya Region during the rice harvest using a machine called Combine Harvester - which they have rented to facilitate the work. Professional farming techniques have been fueled by the training of Strong Woman Project that has been providing training to enhance productive activities for groups of women entrepreneurs. The group has successfully harvested 37 sacks of rice per acre. Mbeya Regional Strong Women Project Coordinator Faustina Godwin cited it as a model group in implementing what they were taught by agronomists through the Strong Women Project as previously before the training yields were low where on one acre they were earning an average of 15 sacks. Strong Woman Project is supervised by CCT with funding from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD). This project is being implemented in four regions which are Mbeya, Songwe, Dodoma and Mara
Christian Council of Tanzania (CCT) participated in the World Womens Day celebrations March 08, 2022 in Dodoma Region. The celebrations took place in Chemba District, where the program officer of Women, Children and Gender Mrs Esther Muhagachi had the opportunity to give greetings and explain the work of CCT. She gave the data of the last year (2021) and explained that ;CCT empowered 14,357 women in economic activities and for legal education reached 90,034 women out of which 268 received legal aid. Also in 2020, 11,890 women were empowered for competing on the leadership positions of which 58 women were successfully elected in leadership positions, especially at the council level. The motto for the womens day is "Gender Equality for Sustainable Development; be available for census " At the ceremony, the Guest of Honor Mr.Anthony Mtaka Dodoma Regional Commissioner appreciated the womens response to the celebration. He also urged the public to be enthusiastic about business opportunities on the day of the exhibition. During celebrations, the Chapakazi Group from Kondoa District, Jitegemee and Juhudi from Chamwino District empowered by CCT through the Strong Woman Project received gifts from the Guest of Honor for outstanding performance in their production activities.
Leaders of various religions in Dodoma Region have provided education through radio (Dodoma FM) on how to continue to protect themselves from Covid-19. The education has largely focused on how community members are advised to focus on reducing or eliminating the virus. CCT Secretary General Rev. Canon Dr. Moses Matonya witnessing the results of the Strong Woman Project for Sister Eda paul who is a member of the Amani group from Kongwa District in Dodoma Region. She started with one sewing machine, after getting entrepreneurship training she decided to add two sewing machines. She successfully started training for students where she received students for training. Through project training she has been able to increase her income and expand the project. She then started selling various clothes in the booth. CCT through the NORAD StrongWomen Project has been empowering women to expand their projects including encouraging entrepreneurs to hire laborers and design new projects for the promotion of income-generating. The Aman Group is one of the groups that has benefited the most from the training provided and their results are visible.
CCT through the Women and Childrens Unit has been coordinating the exercise against gender based violence, especially female genital mutilation (FGM). Pictured are children from Mara Region gathered in the Serengeti District on April 2022 for a training camp on how to fight these violence. The children used the games as an incentive to teach them unity in combating such acts. Games bring them together thus encouraging participants to keep in mind what was taught through the process.

We had a wonderful Green Saturday commemoration by visiting the Rainbow Orphanage Center owned by ELCT North Eastern Diocese (NED) and planted 50 avocado trees for environmental conservation, income diversification for the center and improving nutrition for the children with special needs. ACT Alliance Tanzania Forum through Waking the Giant Initiative Tanzania calls for multi-sectoral engagement in Climate Action (SDG 13) in unit, trust and responsibility for adaptation and resilience. Appreciations to United Evangelical Mission through Jewish, Christian and Muslim 49th International Conference for supporting the initiative to commemorate the day!
The Doricas is a group of widows located in Msalato Dodoma CC which has capitalize in liquid soap making. After being capacitated by the CCT Strong Woman Program funded by Norad they have been able to improve their activities including the quality of liquid soap, packaging and Labels. Their soap is now on sale in various places including hotels. An example of a hotel that is currently on sale is the Fantas Hotel near the place where they produce soap.
Sembael Mfangavo, Agriculture and Livestock, Fisheries and Entrepreneurship Officer for CCT through the Lishe Endelevu Project, giving practical education on how to make extra food (nutrition porridge) for children from the age of six months and for pregnant and lactating mothers. The training was conducted in the Tupendane group located in Kikuyu ward north of Mission Street, Dodoma City.
God’s Farming ways has continued to benefit farmers from various regions in Tanzania including Dodoma. Here are the beneficiaries who received practical training provided by the Christian Council of Tanzania through KARIMU TZ Project. The practical training has enabled them to get a lot of products on a small farm area. The methods used are natural fertilizers and quality seeds. This training has attracted many farmers, whereas also many community members have been attracted to the products available through class farms. The aim of this method of farming is to help farmers use less agricultural costs and get more produce for a small farm and take care of the environment as well as adapt to climate change.
